Siu Chi is a shy boy who loves to draw but hides his sketchbook, fearing his pictures aren't good enough. One day he takes the tram from Kennedy Town to Shau Kei Wan, sketching cha chaan tengs, wet markets, and the harbour along the way. He meets an old painter who shows him that even messy lines can be beautiful. Inspired, Siu Chi organises a small exhibition outside his housing estate. Neighbours and friends gather, and Siu Chi discovers that courage is simply picking up his pencil and sharing his own Hong Kong.
